GENERAL MOTORS EUROPE IS BEST OF SHOW

NEW YORK, NY – November 9, 2006 - The winners of the 17th Annual International GALAXY 2006 Awards Competition honoring excellence in product and service marketing were announced today in New York City.

Over five hundred and sixty entries were received from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, French West Indies, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Mexico, People’s Republic of China, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.  pmg profile marketing group (GERMANY), took the top honor on behalf of GENERAL MOTORS EUROPE, for the world premiere of the Opel Antara GTC, at the International Frankfurt Motor Show 2005.The event concept and execution corresponded to Opel’s new versatile design language “to be more distinctive, dynamic and emotional.”  The judges extolled the spectacular reveal show as “very well done!”  They praised this event marketing concept to be “refreshing, innovative, and extraordinarily well put together.”
