GRAND AWARD WINNERS ANNOUNCED FOR
20th ANNIVERSARY QUESTAR FESTIVAL

TAKES BEST OF SHOW

NEW YORK, NY – June 22, 2011 - The grand winners of the 20th anniversary QUESTAR Competition for excellence in Corporate Videos were announced today in New York City and represent the highest creative standards in the industry.

           

            CC Two, (Bristol, U.K.), has been awarded the BEST OF SHOW for their Corporate Event Opener Better Together. Produced for LLOYDS BANKING GROUP, the video was created to reflect the theme for the post-integration merger. The judges praised the work for its excellent energy and pace, its contemporary and edgy approach, as well as its positive, clear message. The 3˝ minute opener received the highest absolute scores in the Final Rounds of the competition.

           

            The top 3% percent of entries captured a grand QUESTAR Award.  In their respective categories, the 2011 Grand Award winners were:

The judges awarded Gold and Silver Awards to the top 30% scoring entries.  The awards were presented to production houses, cor­pora­tions, and associa­tions from around the world.

 

In its 20th year, the QUESTAR Awards had over 100 entries received from 10 countries including Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Russia, Scotland, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and the United States.

           

Judges represented creative directors, directors of broadcast services, producers, directors, marketing coordinators, production managers, public relations managers, and presidents of production houses, agencies, and corporations.

           

The QUESTAR Award symbolizes the creative energy that is transformed by the craft, innovation, and skill into the excellence of the video medium.  It is the creativity, originality, and talent of the individuals involved to whom the awards festival is dedi­cated.
